About

AVRAM SCHREIBER

I am excited to apply at your firm whose reputation precedes itself .

With over 25+ years of executive leadership, corporate restructuring, and strategic business growth, I bring an extensive track record of driving operational excellence and scaling organizations. My passion for building businesses, with a watchful eye and a dedication that I think goes unmatched. Perhaps Ronald Reagan had me in mind when he said “you could trust, but you better verify”. I’m strong on detail and organization but not to the point where it could potentially hurt the company or just be stubborn. By nature, while achieving desired results, I believe in fighting for every nickel but not to put our objectives in potential peril. And at times, being realistic and compromising, to achieve a mutually beneficial relationship, is the best tonic for the issue and brings results.

As CEO of AH Schreiber Co., I led the company’s expansion from $5 million to $114 million in revenue, managing strategic acquisitions, working very closely with one of the largest factor in the country, my banking facility and factor , along with my CFO to help usher in that sort of aggressive , and profitable growth - optimizing operations, while leading and mentoring a team of over 115 employees was essentially the rule on a daily basis.

In addition to very carefully monitoring risk, making tough decisions and the ability to thrive in fostering strong corporate partnerships, including our valued clients, and making sure they were pleased with the company’s performance, along with financial institutions et al.

I became quite close with the leaders in the licensing field, navigating complex financial structures, and spearheading innovative business strategies. I purchased a major brand out of Bankruptcy Court and turned it from approximately $6 million in gross revenue to a high of $39 million (the name of the brand was ‘Longitude’).  There were three crises during my tenure (the Obama recession, 9/11 and the U.S. Bank “meltdown”). For each of those I essentially remade the company while mitigating loss of sales but cutting costs aggressively during each of those crises. It was naturally a challenge because you wanted to cut cost as much as you could, but without disturbing the essentials of the business. I treated each crisis differently to match the issues of the day.
